We coordinate a free advice and representation service at the Willesden County Court for those who are facing a home repossession.
Duty advisers are normally available at the county court on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday when repossession cases are usually heard.
If you need help from an adviser at the court try to arrive early for your possession hearing and ask the court usher to direct you to the duty adviser. The duty adviser will be able to assess your case and tell you what options or defences may be available to you.
If you need help presenting your case to the court the adviser can attend the hearing with you and act as your representative. After the hearing the adviser will explain the terms of any order which the court has made and may also be able to refer you to other advice agencies for further help and assistance.
Many repossession cases are linked to either mortgage arrears or rent arrears. If you are facing a possession hearing caused by an arrears problem you may also find some of our related links useful.
If you need to check if a duty adviser will be available on the date your case is being heard at Willesden County Court please contact the Advocacy Service Coordinator on 020 8937 2778.
