Could you make a unique difference to the life of a child?
Choosing to become an adoptive parent is a life changing and extremely rewarding decision for both you and the child or children you adopt.
We have many children in Brent who are in need of loving, stable homes and we are currently seeking families for single children and sibling groups over the age of two.
We need people to come forward from all backgrounds because our children need lots of different types of families. The adoption application is a comprehensive process, so the team are here to offer help, guidance and advice every step of the way and beyond to support you as a family.
We know it's a big decision and you may have been considering it for a while. So if you contact us on 020 8937 4525, we can have a one to one chat with you. Alternatively, you can email us on adoption@brent.gov.uk
You can also download an information pack (.pdf, 521Kb)for a step by step guide through the process and take a look at our common questions about adoption.
Information evenings
Our next information evening date is Wednesday 23 May 2012 from 6.30pm at Willesden Green Library Centre, 95 High Road, Willesden NW10 2SF.
You will be able to talk to a member of staff, find out about the process and ask plenty of questions.
If you are interested in adopting from an overseas country, this is known as inter-country adoption. We no longer offer assessments for this type of adoption. However, you can contact our partners, Parents and Children Together (PACT) directly. They will be able to advise you about your options and how to proceed.
