Premises Licence
All premises supplying alcohol, entertainments or hot meals between 11am and 5am need to have a valid alcohol and entertainment licence. This includes:
Club Registration
A Club Registration authorises the supply of alcohol and regulated entertainment to members in respect of premises occupied by, and habitually used for the purposes of a club
Temporary Event Notices
A Temporary Event Notice allows for the holding of a small scale one-off licensable activity without having a Premises Licence or Club Registration Certificate and would apply to fetes, open days, and similar events or on special occasions such as international sporting events.
Personal licences
In addition to premises requiring licences, before alcohol can be supplied the person selling or supplying the alcohol must have a personal licence or be authorised to supply the alcohol by a personal licence holder
The Licensing Act requires us to publish a Statement of Licensing Policy (.pdf, 185Kb). This policy sets out how we will deal with applications in general and with specific licensing matters in special circumstances.
