Events and culture for 2012

To celebrate the Olympics coming to Brent we are organising a number of events during the year.  Three free festivals to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the Olympic Torch Relay will be held this summer with the theme 'Brent Celebrates'.

• Brent Celebrates the Flame in King Edward VII Park on Wednesday 25 July 2012
• Brent Celebrates a Golden Summer in Gladstone Park on Sunday 9 September 2012

Brent will also be celebrating the Cultural Olympiad through Brent Dance Month.  

Planning your own events and street parties

If you are planning an event between 20 July and 11 September 2012 you will need to give it special preparation and consideration.  

2012 will be busier than usual so early planning is essential to ensuring a safe and successful Games for all.
