B.Active leisure discount scheme

Swimming

The B.Active discount scheme allows regular users aged 17 and over to benefit from discounted prices on a range of activities at our sports centres.

Some of the activities and group exercise classes at the centres include swimming, badminton, squash, aerobics, yoga, gym inductions and casual gym sessions.

In addition to offering discounted prices the scheme also entitles the holder to seven days priority booking rights in all of our centres.

Concession eligibility

Residents can apply for the B.Active concessionary card if they:

  • get housing benefit
  • are on income support
  • get jobseekers allowance
  • get council tax benefit
  • are a full time student aged 17 and over
  • are a student nurse.

Residents can apply for the 60 plus and disabled card if they:

  • are a senior citizen aged 60 and over
  • are a disabled person registered with Brent.

Example of concessionary card savings to be made

For a peak time swimming session at Willesden Sports Centre the standard price is £4.15 but the concessionary price is £2.50.

This equates to a total saving of £1.65 each time the card is used for this activity. Just five peak time swims a year would more than pay for price of the card.
